Electronic Weighment Data collection devices

Delmerweigh is hand-held, portable, battery-operated easy to use cost-effective electronic weighing scale. This serve the dual purpose of weighing as well as collecting field and employee data for computer processing at the agricultural fields. This is an ideal IT solution for plantations.

Weights are recorded electronically at the weighment spot by supervisors using these devices. The system has memory to store details of employees, field numbers and weights thus removing the mundane manual recording, totaling and posting into earning sheets.

The system is built with rugged features for withstanding rough weather conditions in a plantations environment. The system is so simple that the supervisors will be able to use these equipments quickly and efficiently. The data transfer is done through infrared sensors to the PC at the end of the day and manager will have an accurate information on production and productivity.
A serial link transfer box (PC Interface) is permanently connected to the
PC on the serial port and there is no physical connectivity to the
DELMERWEIGH thus improving reliability.

PC INTERFACE WITH CHARGER

The data collected from these equipments are used for both production accounting and preparing the pay-slips for the workers at the end of the month. Hence these help in avoiding mundane data entry, validation and checking.

Delmerweigh comes in two types. One with Real time clock where time of weighment can be recorded and the other without Real time clock.

Software in Delmerweigh is made as per user’s requirement. PC side software will be in DOS, Windows or Unix based as required by the user. PC side software is limited to data collection only. Report generation, accounting etc., are available as package at extra cost.

DELMERWEIGH ( Second Generation )

The second generation Delmerweigh is developed to cater to the present scenario in plantation industry. With reduced manpower and increased workload, Delmerweigh became an indispensable tool in plantation sectors.

The second generation Delmerweigh comes with more memory (8MB), real-time clock and card reader (optional). Since the memory is increased by more than 100 times, now, user can enter more data in the field, time can be captured to avoid manipulations. Plus the in-system programmable memory for the firmware gives you the flexibility to change the application software as and when it is required.

The IRDA serial output can transmit data up to 9600bps speed which makes downloading of data from Delmerweigh, very fast.

About 500 times more memory capacity gives ample data storage space. Increases the application of Delmerweigh to storing field data, stock details, daily activities, etc. The application software in Delmerweigh can be modified and loaded to the machine through serial port, without opening the machine. User can modify the software as and when they wish without opening the system.

RFID Reader (optional)   Data transfer
This is a contact less card reader technology. A plastic ID card issued to the workers will have unique ID number which will be read by the
system if shown near the machine. Operator
need not have to punch the employee code.
This is a optional unit. Cost of the unit and card extra. Only ABS enclosure will be provided.
Data is transferred between Delmerweigh and PC Interface using IRDA standard. This will be faster than the legacy infrared system. Direct RS232 connector facility is also given. New PC interface is required.

Keyboard   Auto power off
Keyboard has more keys for various functions, makes data entry easier. Contrast, brightness
of the display can be adjusted through the keyboard.
