An automatic packaging device that is connectable to a meat slicer, creating an automatic in-shop slicing & packaging line with an optional tray dispenser.

Per minute, the Linepack packages up to 10 sliced portions in an attractive film covering.

The Linepack operates with the same film as the Fastpack in a width of 230 mm. The length of the packages is adjustable between 50 and 230 mm and the maximum product height is 30 mm.

Economy

The Linepack is quick and efficient. Using the machine continuously to pre-pack foods reduces the need for staff. As most fast moving products can be sliced and packaged automatically, less staff is required for packaging customer orders. Moreover, Linepack facilitates staff to serve customers personally or to perform other tasks.

Proven Technique

The packaging concept, which is the basis of the machine, has been deducted from an earlier development and therefore had already proven to be successful at commercial test sites.

Fresh and Easy

Linepack gives fresh foods all handling advantages of factory pre-packed foods while preserving the products’ freshness. If refrigerated, products will retain their fresh look for at least 48 hours. Cleaning the Linepack is also quick and easy. Using Linepack means optimal packaging at the lowest possible cost.

Flexibility

The Linepack runs in two operating modes: Manual and automatic.

The manual mode is used for packaging of single items. The device needs to be started manually by pressing the green button for each package.

In the automatic mode, the Linepack will wait for product passing the sensor. Combined with a meat slicer, the Linepack runs automatically at a maximum of 10 packs per minute, which is an ideal pace to (pre-) pack larger batches of product.

Variety

The Linepack can be used with a variety of films, since the operating temperature of the sealing jaws is widely adjustable by dealer technicians. This makes Linepack the ultimate device for to combine with all meat slicers.

Freshness

The freshness of food is usually judged by its colour and appearance. To enhance its appearance, Linepack seals food products in a transparent film. The result is an airtight package which is hygienic and easy to handle. Moreover, it shields the food product from discoloration or dehydration. Freshly packed foods stay fresh looking all day and when refrigerated, they will retain their fresh look for at least 48 hours.

Moreover, the heat sealing element only heats up when product is approaching. Directly after the packaging of a product, is cools down to prevent incoming product from heating up by residual warmth.

Hygiene

Like most high quality food processing equipment, the Linepack is made of stainless steel and has specifically been designed for cleanliness. There are no hidden corners for waste to accumulate, which also makes it easy to clean the Linepack.

Conveyors can be removed, to facilitate cleaning. The Linepack can be brushed out within two minutes and it can be completely wiped out in less than ten minutes.

Safety

The Linepack is safe. All electrical connections and switches are individually protected and totally enclosed within the stainless steel housing. To protect body parts from getting under the sealing jaws, it is protected by a safety door. As the sealing element moves down, the safety door closes.

The sealing element only heats up when product is approaching. Directly after the packaging of a product, is cools down. In case of any irregularities with the slicer, the packager or the Interleaver, the process is stopped and a message appears in the display.

Reliability

The Fastpack is reliable. Using heavy-duty components throughout, the machine is robust and soundly constructed for long service. Apart from daily cleaning it needs very little maintenance.

It uses two reels with polypropylene film for packaging material, which last for more than 3,000 packages.

Interleaver

Optional to the Linepack is an interleaver, dispensing the trays for underneath sliced products. The Interleaver dispenses trays to a maximum width of 200 mm, which is the maximum width to fit into a package made of 230 mm film width.
